Theatre costume shop

Located within the Nelson Fine Arts Center, the theatre costume shop is charged with designing and executing the costumes for annual theatre productions as well as with assisting with costume designs for dance. No longer limited to needle and thread, 3-D printing and laser technology techniques are also areas of study, as are mask, wig and make-up design.  From classes in basic sewing and design through specialized work in creating new materials, students are immersed in a wide variety of techniques to prepare them for careers in contemporary and traditional theatre, opera and dance.
