ASU prepares students for the demands and reality of today’s music world in a multitude of flexible and creative degree paths. Our faculty are world-class performers, educators and scholars, including internationally-recognized soloists, clinicians and authors who have been members of the Nashville Symphony, Dallas Brass, the U.S. Air Force Band and Canadian Brass. Notable faculty include Eastman Music Company International Artist Deanna Swoboda, Greenhoe International Artist Brad Edwards, Yamaha International Artist Josef Burgstaller, and John Ericson, winner of the International Horn Society Harold Meek Memorial and Punto Awards.As modern, thriving professional musicians in all fields, we have integrated 21st Century skillsets into traditional core musical skills, including a brand-new Certificate in Music Entrepreneurship.
