Maroon and Gold Bands
Looking for a concert band reprieve? Join the ASU Maroon and Gold Bands, a welcoming space for music majors, non-majors, and community members alike. These non-auditioned ensembles provide an opportunity to continue your musical journey in a supportive environment. We focus on traditional band literature and present one to two major performances each semester. Dust off your instrument and come play with us!

Audition information
An audition is not required for this ensemble. Chair placements will take place at the first class meeting. Music for the chair placement can be found on the Audition instructions, schedule and excerpts page.
Any new student wishing to enroll in Maroon and Gold Band who has not been enrolled before will need to request an override for this semester. Once you have enrolled in the ensemble, we add a special code to your record to allow you to enroll in future semesters.
