The student ensembles program at the School of Music, Dance and Theatre has a long history of excellence. Bands, choir, jazz ensembles and orchestras have commissioned and premiered many new works, performed at major state, regional and national conferences and produced a number of recordings. Ensembles such as Marimba Maderas de Comitan, Javanese Gamelan and Pan Devils Steel Band offer a rich diversity of performance experiences.
