ASUPROX is Arizona State University's flagship music industry conference. It puts students, artists, producers, engineers, founders and industry decision makers in the same rooms in downtown Phoenix, so the people starting out can work directly with the people already doing it.
Hosted by the Popular Music program ASUPROX began in 2023 as the Music Industry Career Conference (MICC). In 2027 it enters its fifth year.
Built on the belief that proximity is power, ASUPROX connects emerging talent and established leaders to the ideas, tools and relationships shaping the future of music and creative expression.

What to expect at ASUPROX
Over two days, ASUPROX runs hands-on workshops, small group sessions, mentoring, showcases and industry mixers across downtown Phoenix. Sessions are led by working professionals and built around things you can use the next day.
ASU students also get a dedicated day of closed programming before the public conference opens.
