Dance Scholarships

All dance majors at ASU are automatically considered for dance scholarships. There is no separate scholarship application for dance scholarships. Every year in February, all current and incoming dance majors will be considered for scholarship awards. Award notifications will be sent in late March. We recommend applying to ASU before January.

Transfer Student Coursework

The ASU dance program is a fall-starting program and offers courses that we encourage to be taken in sequence. If you transfer to ASU starting in the spring semester, it will take you five semesters to complete the program.

In order for your coursework to transfer to ASU from your previous institution, you must request that all of your previous institutions send an official copy of your transcripts to ASU. Click here for information on requesting official transcripts. Direct transfer of courses from other accredited institutions are subject to the existence of parallel courses in ASU's curriculum and to departmental evaluation.
