The position is an academic year (nine-month) career-track position. Anticipated start date is August 16, 2026; fall semester classes begin August 20, 2026.

Clinical Assistant Professor of Music Therapy

The School of Music, Dance, and Theatre in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University seeks a clinical assistant professor of music therapy for a part-time (50%), benefits eligible, non-tenure track position, beginning in fall 2026. The position is an academic year (nine month) position.The successful candidate is expected to teach courses in the undergraduate and graduate music therapy curriculum related to program needs and the candidate’s expertise, mentor students through clinical experiences, engage in appropriate service to include the administration of the ASU Music Therapy Clinic. This is an in-person position located on the ASU Tempe campus.

Clinical Assistant Professor of Costume Design and Technology
